With 4 acres of natural beauty on the hotel’s doorstep, including golden beaches, here at the Hotel California we endeavour to ensure your short break or holiday in Newquay enables you to make the most of our surroundings.  Our balcony room accommodation faces south over the River Gannel and rolling green fields, and there is simply no better way to wake up and enjoy Newquay.  By 2010, all of our newly refurbished bedrooms will have freshly painted walls in restful natural colours, plump new pillows and bedding, soft carpets…. Everything to ensure your stay exudes comfort. 

Put simply, all of our rooms are the perfect base from which to explore, and return to, for complete relaxation.  All  rooms are en-suite with a bath & a shower, central heating, colour television, tea & coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone, self monitoring baby listening, hair dryer, writing desk, easy chairs & trouser press. An iron and ironing board is also available, and we have an in-house laundry service and ironing room.

 Standard rooms

Comfortable and cosy rooms located at the front of the hotel. Standard rooms do not have a view but are good value for money.

View rooms

Located at the back of the hotel, these cosy rooms look out over the ever changing, spectacular river Gannel & surrounding countryside.

Balcony rooms

Balcony rooms are positioned at the back of the hotel  with spectacular views over the river Gannel and up to the magnificent Crantock Beach.

Family rooms

Our family rooms can sleep two adults and up the five children with bunk beds or single beds within the main bedroom or in a separate partitioned area.

Sun lounge family rooms

Located one level below the ground floor our family rooms have a spacious sun lounge, ideal for relaxing in. They are the largest of our rooms with a small partitioned sleeping area housing bunk beds; two rooms also have an additional single bed in the partitioned area.
